I’m Yolanda Nakari, and here at Heart2Live you’ll find information about fitness programs that have helped me. Join me on my journey through life’s transitions as I try to stay healthy and fit. Maybe you’re like me and have found that what’s worked for others doesn’t work for you. I want to share with you what I’ve discovered that works and why other programs haven’t been successful.
I’m not a health professional or a fitness professional. I’ve got a BA in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, so I’m going take that knowledge and share it with you.
I’ve found that exercise and diet alone isn’t enough. I’ve discovered that mindset is crucial to keeping fit. My faith in God has helped me tremendously to have the right mindset towards health and fitness. Good eating habits and exercise routines start with the right mindset. I’ve also learned I need the support of my friends and family, and I need community and accountability. I’d love you to join me on a lifelong journey towards sustainable health. Please join me as I share weekly the ups and downs of making a transition during mid-life. Most of all I want to encourage discussion so that we can help each other. Sometimes word of mouth is the best way to find out about something that works, and if you have something you would like to try, I’m up for a challenge.
